Research And Application On Cold Patch Technical Mechanism Of Asphalt Pavement Mixture

With the development of the highway transportation in our country, heavy Traffic, large vehicles, overloading are becoming more and more serious. Because of long-term exceeded use of asphalt pavement in the process, and the design and construction deficiencies aggravated roads damaged. Therefore, the maintanace of asphalt concrete pavement is very difficult now. Cold Patch Asphalt Mixtue can work on all weather and environment including the wet pit, because it has the good waterproof performance. In order to ensure the road fast, safe, comfortable and efficient operations, reducing the impact of the operation at road, asphalt road repair has become a conservation priority in road maintenance.The current study of asphalt mixtures are often cited foreign asphalt additives, not only the cost is expensive,but also the stability needs to be tested. In this paper, on the basis of domestic and foreign data, we deigned the component of the Mixture and done a lot of lab test by the analysis of cold asphalt additives mechanism. At last, this paper geted the result of the cold asphalt additives and the ratio of premium which are suitable for the cold winter in northern China.Mainly aspects of the research, as follows:(1) Self-developed for the cold winter LW-1 patched up cold asphalt additives, and we repaired the municipal road and highway at low temperatures in winter and spring.(2) This paper determined the cold asphalt mixture performance and their laboratory test methods.(3) This paper analyzed the cold-fill asphalt mixture design method with the composition of the material by the study in mechanism of cold-fill additives modified, and combined with laboratory test and the actual pit road repair condition,.(4) This paper studied the structure of the strength characteristics of the mixture formation mechanism, and analyzed of the internal factors which impact the cold asphalt mixture performance.(5) This paper summed up the construction process, maintainance measures of the cold asphalt mixture, and some NOTES of construction by the studied of repaired the actual road pavement performance.
