Steel bellows culvert is a typical flexible structure.The structure has high bearing capacity and good deformation adaptability.It can effectively solve the failure problem of culvert structure caused by uneven deformation of foundation.At present,there is no design code to guide the design and construction of steel corrugated pipe culvert structure in China,which restricts its popularization and application in domestic highway engineering.Based on the present situation of steel bellows culvert in China,the influence mechanism of different filling height,diameter,wall thickness,backfill material properties and construction scheme on its working characteristics is systematically studied through theoretical analysis and numerical simulation.The detailed construction,anti-corrosion technology and quality control standards are put forward.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)This paper compares and evaluates several common structural design methods of steel corrugated pipe culvert at home and abroad.Combining with the actual construction and construction technology level of highway engineering in our country,the structural design calculation method of large diameter steel corrugated pipe culvert suitable for mountain highway in our country is given.(2)Through numerical simulation,the mechanical and deformation characteristics of large diameter steel bellows culvert are analyzed under different filling height,diameter,wall thickness,backfilling material types and backfilling construction schemes,and the corresponding laws of mechanical and deformation are revealed.The most disadvantageous position of mechanical deformation of large diameter steel bellows culvert under different working conditions is obtained.The selection of control position in structure design can provide reference.Through the simulation analysis of different backfilling construction schemes,the influence mechanism of different backfilling construction schemes on the overall stress and deformation of large diameter steel bellows culvert structure of mountain highway is revealed,which lays the foundation for the follow-up study of construction technology of large diameter steel bellows culvert of mountain highway.(3)Based on the study of construction technology of large diameter steel bellows culvert in mountain highway and the results of numerical simulation analysis,the construction technology and quality control standards of large diameter steel bellows culvert in mountain highway are put forward,which can guide the construction of large diameter steel bellows culvert in mountain highway.(4)Based on the study of corrosion mechanism of large diameter steel corrugated pipe culvert in mountainous highway under different influence factors,the corresponding anti-corrosion treatment technology and quality control standards under different corrosion conditions are put forward.At the same time,the service life estimation formula of steel corrugated pipe culvert structure is given,and the service life of steel corrugated pipe culvert structure is effectively estimated.
