Corrugated steel arch culvert has the advantages of light weight,easy installation and industrial production,and is widely used in the western regions of China,such as Gansu and Inner Mongolia.In recent years,this kind of culvert structure has also been successfully applied in the Middle East.At present,domestic and foreign research on waveform steel culvert structure mainly focuses on circular cross-section,and there is little research on the force and deformation characteristics of large-span corrugated steel arch culvert under working conditions such as construction backfill and vehicle loading during operation.For this reason,the research on the force and deformation characteristics of large span corrugated steel arch culvert under construction backfill and long-term use has important theoretical significance and application value for the future scientific design and construction of this structure.This paper takes the Tongcheng-Yuexi section of the Wu Yue Expressway project as the back Ground,and uses a combination of numerical simulation and field monitoring to study the structural deformation characteristics of large-span corrugated steel arch culvert construction,and analyses the influence of factors such as wall thick Ness,vehicle load and cross-sectional shape on the vertical and transverse deformation of the circumference of this structure,and the law of change of wave peak and wave trough stress.The main research contents and conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The load action method of corrugated steel arch culvert is studied.The reasonableness of the Chinese Highway Bridge Design Application Code(JTGD60-2015)and the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code for the structural load calculation of corrugated steel arch culverts is discussed,and the calculation analysis is carried out in conjunction with the actual project.The results show that the influence of the interaction between soil and structure is considered in the Canadian Code for the Design of Highway Bridges,and the soil arch coefficient is used to reflect the anti-arch effect in the fill,and the results are in good agreement with the actual measured values,so the Canadian Code for the Design of Highway Bridges is adopted for the corrugated steel structure load of this project.(2)Relying on the actual project,Abaqus numerical simulation software was used to establish a finite element model of the corrugated steel channel with a large section of arch overlay,and the force and deformation characteristics of the arch culvert during the backfill construction were analysed and compared with the actual measured results on site.The results show that: during the backfilling construction of the arch culvert,the change trend between the finite element calculation results and the field measured results is basically the same,the corrugated steel arch culvert experienced the change process of first sinking,then up arch,then sinking;first under pressure,then under tension,then under pressure;the stress and deformation values of the measured results are greater than the finite element simulation calculation values,the maximum tension area occurs at the arch waist position,the maximum pressure area occurs from the arch shoulder to the The maximum vertical displacement of the culvert is 11.1mm,which occurs at the shoulder of the arch,equivalent to 0.15% of the design pipe diameter,and is within the range of design allowable deformation.(3)The influence of different culvert shapes,wall thick Nesses and vehicle loads on its relative deformation and equivalent force was studied.The results show that: the concavity at the arch waist of the corrugated steel round pipe culvert is greater than that of the arch corrugated steel pipe culvert,and after filling to the top of the pipe,the convexity value of the arch corrugated steel pipe culvert is greater than that of the round pipe culvert;the wall thick Ness of the best corrugated arch culvert is 7mm,which can not only improve the structural bearing capacity and reduce deformation,but also improve the economic applicability and avoid engineering waste;under the action of vehicle load,due to the mutual conductivity of force,the stress of the valley is slightly greater than that of the corrugation,and the load in This shows that the corrugated steel structure can better disperse the force and deformation due to the existence of corrugation,which reflects the material advantages and structural characteristics of corrugated steel arch culvert structure,and provides theoretical support for the design of pipe culvert backfill construction process and technical parameters of corrugation design for actual engineering reference.Figure[37]Table[9]Reference[64]...
