Study On The Protection And Reuse Of Cultural Heritage Of Railway Along The Taiwan Strait

With the steady development of urban social economy,the protection and reuse of industrial heritage has gradually been paid attention by the governments along the Straits.Railway cultural heritage,as an important component of industrial heritage,has the characteristics of a wide range of industrial heritage,and has its own distinct characteristics,such as linear spatial attributes and dynamic characteristics.In view of the pluralistic characteristics and rich value composition of Railway Cultural heritage,it is necessary to study it as an independent subject.This paper takes the Railway Cultural Heritage along the Taiwan Strait as the research object,through literature research,field research,comparative analysis,multi－disciplinary comprehensive analysis,combined with relevant theories and practices at home and abroad,to explore its protection and reuse and strategic research.Firstly,this paper conducts a basic research on the cultural heritage of the two sides of the Taiwan Straits,comparing and analyzing the historical evolution,heritage characteristics,value of protection and reuse and relevant policies and regulations of the two sides of the Taiwan Straits,laying a theoretical foundation for the follow-up study;secondly,it classifies the functional orientation of the protection and reuse of the cultural heritage of the two sides of the Taiwan Straits,including cultural creative space,public recreation space,exhibition space and comprehensive commercial sapce.And select the typical case analysis of its reform characteristics and shortcomings Then,based on theoretical research and case analysis,the paper summarizes and studies the protection mode of Railway Cultural Heritage from two aspects of static protection and dynamic protection.Finally,it summarizes four strategies for the protection and reuse of Railway Cultural Heritage on both sides of the Straits,It includes the protection of material form and the intervention of heterogeneous elements,and the symbiotic strategy of railway culture and art space,the construction of Railway Cultural Heritage Protection Network and the continuation of sustainable management concept are applied to the design practice.In summary,this paper conducts a comprehensive study on the protection and reuse of Railvway Cultural Heritage along the Straits,from theoretical research to research and analysis,to put forward strategies and design practices,hoping to provide some reference for the protection of Railway Heritage in China.
