Urban Design Study Of Tujia Characteristic Town

According to the data of the National Bureau of Statistics,the urbanization rate in China has reached 59% in 2018,indicating that urbanization has entered the middle and late stages.However,the phenomenon of "one thousand towns for one" and the bottleneck of urban economic development are becoming more and more serious.In order to improve this situation and promote the healthy and orderly development of urbanization,the government proposes to carry out extensive urban design work and cultivate characteristic towns from the macro level.It is of great significance to study how ethnic regions with relatively backward development take this as an opportunity to use the working means of urban design to form a new model of constructing characteristic towns,so as to improve the problems such as serious population loss,lack of development motivation and gradual loss of regional characteristics.First of all,through the analysis and summary of the relevant research theories and present situation at home and abroad,it is found that most of the cultivation of characteristic towns in ethnic minority areas only rely on their good style and regional culture to form tourism and sightseeing.How to excavate the local traditional industry and transform and upgrade to form a pluralistic and flexible industrial chain is still blank.In exploring the new model of characteristic town construction through urban design,the extraction and expression of regional culture still stay in the general design method of element symbol restoration,and its applicability and continuity are not discussed.Based on these doubts,the research direction and implementation framework of the paper are established.Secondly,the innovation connotation of the characteristic town and the research content of the urban design of the characteristic town are clarified through the study of the relevant basic theory and cases,Taking "national vocabulary" as the entry point,this paper discusses the key points and principles of urban design of characteristic small towns.Then,the key points of the design are summarized based on the theory and case analysis.This paper makes an in-depth analysis of tujia ethnic vocabulary,and extracts and evolves from traditional industries,traditional dwellings,folk culture and settlement space.Finally,based on the core points of urban design and the extraction of Tujia national vocabulary,the urban design strategy for cold water Tujia characteristic town is put forward.The strategy mainly includes the construction of the overall landscape style of "mountain city paddy field",the creation of Tujia characteristic industrial space,the construction of livable and suitable tourism characteristic transportation and the shaping of urban vitality public space.Under this guidance,the urban design of this paper is completed.On the one hand,this paper improves the research on the urban design of characteristic small towns for ethnic regions,and on the other hand,it constructs a new modelof cultivating characteristic small towns in ethnic regions,providing reference experience for other ethnic regions.
