Research On The Choice Of FDI Entry Mode Of Chinese Automobile Enterprises

In the 40 years since 1978,China's auto industry has achieved tremendous development achievements,and China has become the world's leading automobile production and exporter.However,with the decline of the global auto market expansion rate,the simple export model has been unable to meet the development needs of China's auto companies.China's local auto companies are expanding their global presence through FDI.However,in the current academic research,the enterprises in developed countries are mainly discussed as samples.The exploration for developing countries is less,and there are fewer studies on the FDI entry mode of Chinese auto companies.Therefore,this paper discusses the choice of entry of FDI in Chinese auto companies through case comparison.The first chapter briefly introduces the research background and research methods of this paper.On the basis of literature,this paper summarizes the research ideas and explains the contribution and deficiency of this paper.The second chapter expounds the main theory of entry mode,introduces and analyzes its concept and classification,and research theory,paving the way for subsequent chapters.The third chapter analyzes the status quo and characteristics of FDI in China' s auto industry.Under the theoretical support,it puts forward the factors that affect the FDI entry mode selection of Chinese auto companies and makes reasonable assumptions.The fourth chapter selects the case of Geely Group and Great Wall Motor.Through case comparison,it is found that the market factors,economic level,political system factors of the host country,as well as the internationalization experience,strategy and technical level of the enterprise will affect the choice of FDI entry mode of Chinese auto companies.The fifth chapter puts forward five suggestions for the choice of FDI entry mode for Chinese auto companies.It can help Chinese auto companies to better carry out FDI and choose the most suitable entry mode.
