At present,China’s auto industry has formed a good situation in which state-owned auto companies,private auto companies and joint venture auto companies compete and develop together.As the scale of China’s auto industry attracting foreign investment continues to grow,coupled with the development potential of China’s auto industry itself,China’s auto industry is not only affected by its own driving forces and changes in internal mechanisms,but it is inseparable from the progress of China’s integration into the global industrial development.In 2021,foreign investment in China’s auto industry will exceed us $10 billion,in particular,the investment in the new energy vehicle industry has accelerated the transformation of China’s auto industry to the new energy sector.To study the status quo and influencing factors of foreign investment in China’s auto industry,it can analyze the technology research and development capabilities and industrial structure capabilities of China’s auto industry,and objectively analyze the real gap between Chinese local auto companies and multinational auto groups from the perspective of China’s auto industry development.To point out a reasonable direction for the future development of China’s auto industry.As an international student in China,this thesis studies the influencing factors of foreign direct investment in China’s automobiles from the perspective of international students.The thesis first analyzes the current situation of foreign direct investment in China’s auto industry,including the comprehensive analysis of foreign investment in China’s auto industry and its development history,the development scale of China’s auto industry,and the competitiveness of China’s auto industry;foreign direct investment in China’s auto industry.Status and characteristics.Secondly,analyze the problems existing in foreign direct investment in China’s auto industry,mainly including the opening of foreign shareholding ratios to squeeze the living space of local auto companies,the blockade of core technologies by multinational auto companies to Chinese auto companies,and the impact of some unreasonable investments on the structure of the auto industry.The impact of foreign investment on Chinese domestic auto brands,and the lack of technology absorption and digestion capacity of Chinese auto companies.Then,it analyzes the influencing factors of foreign direct investment in China’s auto industry,mainly including five aspects: first,China’s policy and legal orientation to the automobile industry,due to the existence of local protectionism;second,the protection of local automobiles by the automobile industry association,resulting in unfair competition;third,the domestic auto parts supporting system is not perfect,resulting in a low overall development level of China’s auto industry;The talent structure is unreasonable,especially the lack of high-end talents in automotive research and development.Finally,it puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to attract foreign direct investment in China’s auto industry from five aspects,including policy incentives,giving full play to the functions of the automobile industry association,improving the automobile industry chain,strengthening technology research and development,and cultivating high-quality research talents.
