Research On Planning And Layout Of Chongqing Comprehensive Passenger Transport Hub

Chongqing is an important strategic fulcrum for the development of the western region and is located at the important link between the "Belt and Road" and the Yangtze River Economic Belt.At the same time,the national“13th Five-Year Plan"modern comprehensive transportation planning ranks Chongqing as an international comprehensive transportation hub.After rapid development in recent years,Chongqing’s comprehensive transportation hub construction has achieved remarkable results.However,there are still unbalanced and inadequate contradictions in the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the 3rd Plenary Session of the 5th CPC Central Committee.There is still a big gap between the international and domestic developed regions.Based on the experience and summary of the development of comprehensive hubs at home and abroad,this paper further explores the connotation,function and planning theory methods of the integrated hub.The paper not only presents a summary and analysis of the characteristics of passenger transport hub status quo data in Chongqing but also reveals the predict of its future demand.Combined with the strategies and needs of Chongqing’s transport development,and under the premise of determining the Chongqing passenger transportation hub grading system.The paper studies and formulates the layout plan of Chongqing’s comprehensive passenger transport hub,and focus on the layout of the comprehensive passenger hub in Wanzhou District,and further study the planning and layout plan of Wanzhou North Station.With all of the research of the Chongqing Passenger Terminal Layout planning,we hope to provide some guidance and helps for accelerating the construction of Chongqing’s comprehensive passenger transportation hub and further constructing a comprehensive transportation system.
