As a new source of the national economic growth,the real estate sector has made outstanding contributions to the rapid growth of China's economy.And whether the real estate project can complete the task within the expected time is the primary issue that the project builders need to consider.As one of the important contents of project management,schedule management is directly related to the economic benefits and the promotion of enterprise's market competitiveness.The scientific management idea,the reasonable project schedule and effective progress control method,is very important for the real estate enterprises' economic and social benefits.By referring to a large number of references and materials related to the schedule management of construction projects,this paper firstly introduces the research background and significance of the real estate construction projects'schedule management,and summarizes the research status of the schedule management at home and abroad.Selecting A residential construction project as the research object.the author acquires A residential construction project general situation,schedule management status and the main problems,through on-the-spot investigation,talking with project leader,collecting schedule management information.The author uses work breakdown structure,network planning technique and critical path method to decompose the activities of the project,determine the logical relationship and duration of each activity,draw and optimize the activity-on-arrow of the project.Using the earned value and fish-bone diagram to track and monitor the actual progress of the project and analyze the variance,find out the reasons that affect the project progress plan,so as to constantly adjust and improve the original plan.Finally,on the premise of ensuring the quality and cost,the project duration requirements can be achieved.The research results of this paper have accumulated experience and provided reference for the schedule management of small and medium-sized real estate enterprises,which not onlyensures the total project duration,but also reduces the safety,quality and cost problems caused by the blind rush due to schedule delay.
