Because this project is regional, end customer is from Las Vegas, equipment suppliers involvedS corporation from US and Shanghai, Macau CTM, and several subcontracts fromdifferent places, different languages and different time zones of the project teammake the project schedule controlling is more difficult than the others. Meanwhile,due to the project site is near the sea, the installation height is more than hundredsmeters, product design for corrosion&wind level have a quite high requirement.This paper introduces the theory of knowledge of project management andschedule control firstly, and then analyze both internal and external factors thateffective project schedule, such as company’s unreasonable organization, frequentdesign changes, which has caused schedule delay, over budget, key resourceconflicts, unqualified product and so on. Take Venetian Macau as an example, thispaper analyzes critical path and schedule network diagram method application andproject time management, including plan schedule management, define activity,sequence activity, estimate activity resources, develop schedule and controlschedule.The end of this paper analyzes the earned value management, uncertainfactors be fully considered and effective dynamic control.
