The "Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Further Strengthening the Management of Urban Planning and Construction" issued in 2016,pointed out that it is necessary to "promote the block system" and "gradually open and close the community" to promote the development of the country to be more open, more complete, and more pleasant neighborhood. To open the original closed residential community,it is necessary to increase the density of the road network, enrich the function of the residential area, and increase the street frontage to stimulate the diversity of community activities such as walking and communication. However, from a vertical perspective, influenced by historical factors such as Soviet aid construction and rapid urbanization, some residential areas in China have adopted the form of street shops.Although urban space meets the basic functional needs of residents, the concept of “people-oriented” is not very good. The implementation of the “secure island” into a piece of film ignores the sense of scale and the demand for walking, which makes the contradiction between the growing healthy living needs and the closed and isolated communication of the settlements more prominent. Therefore,it is necessary to study the impact of settlement opening on residents' walking and walking in the context of street-based policy guidance and green travel. In the process of research, this paper analyzes the relationship between openness and walking in accordance with the principle of “gradual and gradual divergence”.Through the construction of the evaluation index system of residential area openness, the relationship between the openness of residential areas and the factors affectingpedestrian travel is analyzed, and the influencing factors are reclassified.Through the relationship model between the openness of the residential area and the pedestrian walking, the degree of influence of the openness of the residential area on walking is judged by the combination of various factors;and the relationship between the indicators of openness and walking is further analyzed, and the influence is selected.Key indicators of walking.Through the analysis of 8 sample residential areas in Jinan, the following conclusions are drawn: Overall, the openness of residential areas has a significant impact on overall, work, shopping and fitness walking, but the degree of impact on different types of walking is different. From the perspective of the openness evaluation index system, road connectivity has a positive impact on residents' overall, work, school and shopping walking, and plays a key role, which has a negative impact on fitness walking, but the effect is relatively small;resources Sharing has a positive impact on overall, work, and shopping walking, and has a negative impact on fitness walking, but the degree of effect is not high;functional diversity has a negative impact on fitness walking, and the degree of effect is high, diversity Most of the indicators have a positive impact on the overall, work, shopping and walking, but the degree of effect is different;boundary penetration has a greater impact on shopping and fitness walking, and has both positive and negative effects. Finally, based on the above conclusions, this paper proposes planning and design countermeasures from four aspects: road connectivity, resource sharing, functional diversity and boundary penetration.
