Study On The Application Of Chinese Painted Pottery Patterns In Theme Hotel Design

With the continuous improvement of people's living standards and the vigorous development of tourism,people put forward higher requirements for the living environment of traveling.It is difficult for traditional hotels to be attractive with uniform decorative style while theme hotels,with their unique design concept and culture,bring personalized living experience to customers,and gradually stand out in the hotel industry.Under the background of globalization,a large number of international hotels are pouring into our country.While we are learning from them,some design elements with Chinese characteristics are being neglected.The development of theme hotels in China started relatively late,and there are still some problems with the theme hotels such as insufficient connotation of theme culture and convergence of theme content.To solve these problems,we need to explore more theme culture that can represent Chinese art and create theme hotels with Chinese artistic characteristics.Painted pottery is the main component of Chinese prehistoric art,and also one of the sources of human art.As a treasure in the history of Chinese art,the painted pottery is charming primarily because of its patterns.The patterns in different periods differ with each other and are gorgeous,showing the mystery of peculiarity in original art.In the modern society,the art of Chinese painted pottery pattern has been paid more and more attention by the world and pursued by designers.In view of this,the author combines the Chinese painted pottery pattern with the theme hotel and presents the research results.Firstly,the research starts with the related theories of painted pottery,classifies the painted pottery patternsthrough literature reading and data search,conducts on-the-spot investigations on museums and cultural sites and summarizes the composition and expression of the painted pottery pattern.Then,the design status of the theme hotel and the relevant cases of theme hotels at home and abroad are analyzed,and the application value and methods of the painted pottery pattern in the theme hotel design are summarized,including in particular,how to combine the color,scale and shape of the painted pottery pattern with the space,which provides a theoretical basis for the design of the theme hotel with the painted pottery pattern.Finally,taking the design scheme of Yangshang Theme Hotel in Zhengzhou as an example,the research combines theory with practice.Firstly,through on-the-spot investigation,the location and traffic of the project are analyzed to find out the design orientation of the theme hotel with painted pottery pattern.Then extract the decorative and representative painted pottery pattern,and integrate them into the design of theme hotel.In practice,explores the application forms of painted pottery pattern in hotel design,and creates theme hotel design works with Chinese artistic characteristics.
