| In recent years,China’s economic strength has developed rapidly.With the economic development and scientific progress,China’s influence in the world has increased significantly,and its exchanges with other countries in politics,economy and culture have become more and more extensive.The transportation becomes more convenient,which makes the communication and cooperation of various industries more and more frequent.A large number of international brand hotel industries begin to flow into China.People gradually put forward higher requirements for the living environment and living experience of hotels.The strength of our country accounts for more and more international status,which makes people pay more attention to the spread of traditional human culture on the basis of cultural self-confidence.Under the background of global economic development,international brand hotels have entered the hotel market in China,while the hotel design has gradually tended to have strong regional culture and local characteristics from the modern style of international cities.While learning from them,we have neglected some design elements with Chinese characteristics.The traditional hotel’s uniform decoration style has lost its appeal.The hotel integrated with unique design elements can bring personalized living experience to customers by virtue of design concept and theme culture,so they gradually stand out in the hotel industry.Although the development of hotels in China started late compared with other European and American countries,the confidence of national culture brought by the rapid development of China in recent years has promoted us to dig more Chinese art culture,historical culture and theme culture,and then design characteristic Hotels with Chinese cultural connotation.As a treasure of prehistoric art and human art in China,the ancient Tibetan pattern art reflects the footprints of human activities and Tibetan culture thousands of years ago,embodies the distinctive national characteristics ofthe Tibetan people,and also shows the material life and spiritual civilization of the Tibetan people.It can be seen from the thousands of Stone Age decorations,daily necessities and derived ethnic costumes unearthed in Tibet that the ancestors of the Stone Age created unique production tools and cultural arts for the sake of reproduction,and recorded the historical development and evolution process of the Tibetan decorative pattern process.Tibetan pattern art is everywhere in the national life of the Snow Plateau,leaving beautiful symbols in all aspects of clothing,food,housing and transportation.Among the handicrafts,the symbols of lucky,wish and longing for a better life have always run through the lives of the people of the Snow Plateau.These pictures and decorations can be traced back to the ancient period of Zhang Zhung culture.From the Tibetans’ pursuit of beauty,goodness and mystery can be seen from the Tibetans’ decorative pattern.In the course of development,the Tibetan nationality gradually created its own national characteristic culture,and through various opportunities to constantly exchange,learn,reference and accept the excellent culture of other nationalities,at the same time,it also integrated its own national characteristics to form a cultural treasure,Nowadays,the mysterious art of Tibetan decorative pattern has attracted more and more attention from the western world and attracted the research of Chinese artists.In view of so many spiritual civilizations,the author combined Chinese Tibetan decorative pattern with hotels,analyzed and summed up the composition form and expression techniques of Tibetan decorative pattern through literature reading and data search.Then analyzed the current situation of regional hotel design,related themes and Urban Hotel cases,studied the application value and methods in these hotel design,and analyzed and applied how to combine the shape,color,meaning and use of Tibetan folk culture with hotel space,and design practice with the Tibetan decorative pattern as the design element.At last,the author thought how to integrate the local regional culture into the hotel design,and provided the theoretical basis for the future interior space design.At present,the systematic research on the combination of brand hotel design and regional culture is still lack of in-depth research.This paper analyzes the good cases of hotel design that have regional and culturalcharacteristics,and discusses in detail the selection factors and visual elements of the fusion of brand hotel design and regional culture.In the long run,it is beneficial to the inheritance and development of regional culture and meets the requirements of brand hotel as the carrier of regional culture.This paper analyzes the geographical factors,historical and cultural factors of regional culture,designs and practices with the Tibetan decorative pattern as the design element in combination with the actual case,and combines the research theory with practice.And it mainly through four parts to study.First of all,from the background of the study,it describes the preliminary overview of the current regional culture of the Tibetan decorative pattern and brand hotel,and expounds the purpose and significance of this study,and records the research methods involved in the research process.Secondly,through the discussion of Tibetan regional culture,the meaning and characteristics of brand hotels and the relationship between them,the paper analyzes the current situation and development trend of the design of Hotels with Tibetan cultural characteristics,and enumerates excellent brand hotel design cases both at home and abroad for analysis and comparison,so as to provide guidance for the following research and avoid the existing problems.Then,based on the above overview,the paper considers the design principles of integrating regional culture into the hotel interior space,the construction methods of hotel design features,and the multi angle forms and design methods.Through the summary and research guidance of the first three parts,it mainly analyzes and explains the design practice,from the introduction of the project background to the characteristics of the selected regional cultural elements.This paper takes Nanjing as the research object,studies the design methods of regional hotels,and analyzes Nanjing Golden Eagle Hotel and Nanjing Jumeirah Hotel with examples.Finally,it takes the design scheme of Lhasa Marriott Hotel as an example,combining the research theory with practice,analyzing the location and transportation of the project.Taking Tibet decorative pattern as the design orientation,it integrates the typical and highly decorative pattern into the hotel space design,constantly seeks and excavates the application forms in the hotel design,summarizes the differences of regional culture that should be used in different brand hotelsin the same city,and creates brand hotel design works with Chinese artistic characteristics. |
