The elderly population in China is increasing year by year,and the elderly population has become an important part of the current society.The aging of the population has also become a worldwide topic.The elderly related issues by the social attention,becoming the hot topic of the current discussion.The data show that the proportion of the empty nest elder community is too large.The subject starts from the disadvantaged groups in the elderly,and uses the aided devices as the research form.It summarizes the research background,development trends,design principles,user needs and design thinking.Seeking the design principles in the elderly products,giving users more convenience and comfort,in pursuit of the innovation and continuity of the development of the products.The first part of the subject elaborates the necessity and urgency of the research from the relevant research background,literature review,research content and objectives of the subject;the second part states the relevant demographic characteristics of elderly users and passes relevant research data.The user characteristics analysis is carried out to summarize the physiological and psychological needs.The third part combs and summarizes the related concepts,development process and design appeals of the products,and the fourth part explains the related concepts of interaction design.The relevant interaction design principles of the elderly assisted products;the fifth part is based on the author’s research and investigation,and the personal conceptual design practice in the context of demand analysis.The sixth part is about the design experience and prospect of this topic.I hope that the research of this topic can provide a small force for the research and exploration of old products.
