Exploration And Research On Product Design For The Aged People

Based on the market research of the existing products for old people on the market,this paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of each product,and tries to put forward the improved measures or solutions to the shortcomings.In addition,observes the movement disorder characteristics of the elderly when they use products in daily life,worries about the problems that the elderly usually worry about,thinks about the things that the elderly usually think about,finds the problems that exist when the elderly using products,explores solving methods to this problems combined with the old people's physiological and psychological characteristics and the fundamental courses of product design.With the deepening of the aging trend of our country,it is the designer's responsibility and mission to design more products which are suitable for the elderly and their caregivers to use.The first chapter: discuss the research background,domestic and foreign research status,purpose and significance,research content and methods,as a logical foundation of the whole study.The second chapter: first define the concept of the elderly,classify the elderly from various angles,and then emphasize the concept of the disabled elderly.Then,describe the physiological characteristics,psychological characteristics of the elderly and the related design strategies in detail.The third chapter: first analyze the three kinds of endowment mode—family supporting,community supporting,organization supporting,among them,put a focus on the analysis of the actual situation of outdoor and indoor facilities of the research object—Shenyang endowment service center.Then elaborate inconvenient issues of the disabled elderly during the long-term care in the daily life and product design countermeasures.Finally,analyze the difficulties and burdens of nursing people by establishing the model of long term care and design questionnaire.The fourth chapter: analyze the existing products for old people by the means of classification,summarize the advantages and disadvantages.Refine some design principles that should be paid attention to when designing products for old people.The fifth chapter: carry out the part of design practice on shifting issue of disabled elderly,first analyze different kinds of the existing shifting modes,and then list some excellent design cases,capture the creative points by brainstorming,and finally show the results in two-dimensional and three-dimensional ways.
