With the combination of regional economic development and cultural tourism demand,celebrities' hometowns as non-renewable cultural resources are widely concerned.But wildly competition for celebrities' hometowns and some rough development has made the development of famous people different.In this context,the paper selects Zhaojun's hometown landscape design in Xingshan county,Hubei province to understand Zhaojun culture,to study locals' needs,to resolve the balance between conservation and development of such cultural resources from the perspective of tourism development and landscape design,combining four aspects which are the development of celebrities' hometowns,the protection of intangible cultural heritage,the rural tourism and the commemorative space.The design takes the entrance plaza and the original zhaojun museum as the main commemorative space,showing the life of zhaojun and the culture of the goddess of peace.Based on Han dynasty commercial street and countryside homestays,it will enhance visibility by enriching the exhibition content,increasing the performance form,and the historical relics restoration.It will improve service function from catering,shopping,and accommodation perspectives.Under the policy supports,the villagers chose to be their main business owners,to increase economic income and improve their life qualities.After Zhaojun's hometown design,it will become compound tourist destinations which in the short term,cultural tourism is the activation point,in the long term,take rural tourism as supplements.By different propaganda techniques and activities organizations,it will make Zhaojun's hometown become an important part of the three gorges area and western Hubei eco-cultural tourism circle in the future.
