Research On Design And Use Of Rest Facilities In The The Me Parks In Guangzhou

Theme park is a holiday and leisure complex with a special theme,and it is a group of man-made entertainment attractions and other events in a location for the enjoyment of large numbers of people.Nowadays,the theme park industry has reached maturity and divided into several types.Theme park plays an important role in tourism.As a new tourist attraction,theme parks around the world have become important tourist destinations.China is in a new period of development of large-scale theme parks.At present,theme parks blossom in the major city in China,which gradually become the main consumption object of people's leisure and entertainment.But most of the domestic theme parks lack of competitive advantage,because of similar themes and imitating each other.Those parks tend to focus on the construction of amusement equipment and ignore the construction of service facilities.With monotonous design form,lacking of creativity and unreasonable setting,the facilities can not reflect the theme of the park and inconvenience the visitors.The rest facilities in particular have a great impact on the actual experience of visitors,as quite frequently used service facilities.However,most of the theme parks in C hina did not recognize the importance and neglect the problems of resting facilities for a long period,resulting in low comfort in parks,poor visitor experience and low revisit ratio.At the same time,a lot of famous international theme-park brands enter the China market,which makes the development of domestic theme park face with a new competition and opportunities.The Shanghai Disneyland has been opened on June 16,2016,and the number of tourists keeps increasing.The visitors' travel demand and expectation of first-class theme parks is visible.In order to participate in the competition,local theme parks in C hina need to perfect self-construction and improve service quality.Basing on C hinese and foreign literature study and taking the theme parks in Guangzhou as the research object,the article systematically investigates the design and use of rest facilities in theme parks in Guangzhou by field investigation and questionnaire interview.It also analyzes the characteristics and existing problems of the rest facilities in various theme parks,and summar izes the function of the rest facilities,in order to discuss the design ideas,methods and cruces of the rest facilities in theme parks.The survey objects of the article are C hime-Long Paradise,Sunflower Garden and Lingnan Impression Park,the three theme parks in Guangzhou.First of all,by surveying the use of the rest facilities,the production and installation of the form and the integration of landscape and in these parks,the article summed up the design and application characteristics and problems of the rest facilities on the base of comparison and analysis.The design and application characteristics of the rest facilities are mainly reflected in the following four aspects.The facilities are set up according to the various needs of tourists and designed by considering the coordination with surrounding landscape.They also reflect the economy,practicality and universality,and they combine with the park's natural environment and regional climate characteristics too.The problems arise in five aspects.The form of part of the rest facilities are too single and set in irrational position.Most of them lack of topicality and personality in desigh,and they also lack of innovation,fun and update.The last problem is the lack of cultural characteristics of Cantonese culture.Secondly,according to the literature and the survey results,the article summed up that the main function of the rest facilities is providing services to meet the needs of tourists,beautifying the environment and reflecting the theme and cult ural characteristics.Finally,combined with the characteristics of modern theme parks,the article suggest that the rest facilities be design to meet different use with various types and combine tour route.They also should become the reflection of theme and the regional culture with a rtistic and delicate design.
