In recent decades, theme park, which is defined as a new urban product including entertainment, leisure as well as travelling has experienced a significant enrichment. It revolves around one or more specific topic, and simulated the landscape and man-made recreational activity space of the landscape as a medium. It is considered as a property of the entertainment industry.Theme park, which played the key role of urban public space, is not only the general public’s main part to run daily recreational activities, but it also conveyed a city and cultural backgrounds. And with the huge development of China’s economy as well as individual’s living standard, an increasing number of demands are created for better culture and reaction. And theme park is indeed to meet individual’s demand. As a result, due to the business perspective and positive development, theme park has been an important word in today’s world.This paper is conducted for the purposes of analyzing related definitions. It starts with concept and character of the theme park, it’s classify included and it also focuses on the expression and principle of the landscape design. For in-depth analysis, three instances (ChangZhou Dinosaur Park, QuJiang Cool Cave Heritage Park and Nanjing lovers Park) are created. And by using these examples, to design a theme park, theme definitely, psychology of visitors and wonderful sight should be mainly focused on. At last, by introducing one of the actual project Shang Ren Lake Park landscape design study as example, we can verify the theme parks landscape design method. This is for the purpose to combine theory with practice and clear expresses a cultural theme parks landscape design ideas, renewing and perfecting on China’s theme park planing,hoping I could provide some reference of landscape planing and design projects for our national theme park.
