Slag pot carrier is a kind of special off-rail vehicle used for transporting and handing high-temperature slag.It is a key special transportation equipment during processing.Slag pot carrier has advantages of less land occupation,flexible,low investment,low operation cost and high degree of automation.Therefore,it has become an important device in metallurgical slagprocessing.Slag pot carrier has the characteristics of security,reliability,economy,energy conservation and environment protection and so on,which is favored by the metallurgical enterprises in domestic and overseas;at same time it has been more and more widely application.The working conditions of slag pot carrier are very bad due to the hot temperature metallurgical slag it transports,and the system of itself is very complex.However,the key components of vehicle are often designed to be bulky in the consideration of security.It not only leads to results of a low material utilization coefficient,but also occurring damage or fatigue failure after life-time service.This brings huge safety hazard to the safe operation of vehicle and metallurgical processing.Especially the key stressed components of rear frame for monolithic construction,which requirement of structures complex and changeable stress can’t meet the current structure design for the usual design methods.Therefore,the advanced design methods shall be adopted to meet this requirement,at same time light weight of architectural design is of the vigorous theoretical significance and engineering reference value.In this project,the monolithic construction of the rear frame in BGC60 C slag pot carrier with rubber-typed was researched.According to the research status on domestic and foreign of slag pot carrier.Lightweight design concept and computer simulation analysis method are taken as the research means in this project.3D monolithic construction model of rear frame was established with the 3D software Solidworks,and the finite element model of rear frame was established and optimized with ANSYS.The static strength of monolithic construction of rear frame is studied with the finite element method.Based on the results of lightweight,the key components of the rear frame were analyzed and improved,inorder to improve the structural property and achieve the purpose of lightweight;besides,reducingcost of manufacture and using,the distribution of safety factor of various important components.Finally,this study based on the optimization theory,used the rear frame material thickness as design variables,the monolithic construction weight of rear frame as the objective function,structural strength as constraint condition,established the command stream of monolithic construction of rear frame used APDL.Analysis the stress condition of rear frame structure to expose material thickness sensitivity,in order to better realize light weight and optimum design.The monolithic construction of rear frame is reduced by 1474.5kg,achieving fine lightweight purposes.In this project,the strength of the main stressed structures of slag pot carrier was analyzed by the finite element theory,and the monolithic construction of rear frame is improved to realize light weight,which provides theoretical and practical reference for structural optimum design and light weight of slag pot carrier.Itnot only provides a solid theoretical basis and practical basis for the application of lightweight design of slag tank car,but also provides guarantee for the development of slag tank car.
