As the rapid development of China 's economy and the strong investment in highway construction of our country,highway transportation has become the main mode of transportation,and it undertakes most of the logistics transportation tasks in China.As the main equipment of highway transportation,semi-trailer tractor has been widely used because of its strong specialization,large loading capacity and fast transportation.The frame is the installation carrier of the automobile power transmission system,the body,the traction saddle and other important components,and also the key bearing parts of various additional loads inside and outside the vehicle.Structural design mainly depends on the overall layout and use requirements of the vehicle.Under the condition of sufficient strength and appropriate stiffness,the automobile frame should be designed lightly to reduce the consumption of raw materials and production cost.In this paper,I take the heavy-duty 6 x 4 tractor project as the research object.Firstly,introduced the source and market background of the subject,the influencing factors of the tractor market are analyzed,and the overall structure and main parameters of the tractor as well as the relevant calculation and verification are expounded.The development course of commercial tractor frame and the significance of lightweight design are explained.Through the engineering practice of this project,the design and analysis methods of tractor frame are systematically summarized and studied,which has reference value and guiding significance for enterprises in the design,analysis and optimization of heavy tractor frame.Then,according to the frame design specifications and the general layout requirements,described the detailed process of frame structure design and the matters needing attention.Established the three-dimensional geometric model of the frame by using PROE software.Carried out stress and modal analysis under four common working conditions by Hypermesh finite element analysis software,as to verify whether the frame meets the application requirements.At last,according to the analysis conclusion,redesigned the frame for lightweight improvement,optimized the thickness of the plate.Through the finite element analysis of the optimized structure,the conclusion satisfies the overall performance requirements of the frame and realizes the lightweight purpose of the frame.Through the engineering practice of this project,Summarized and studied the design and analysis methods of tractor frame,which has reference value and guiding significance for enterprises in the design?analysis and optimization of heavy tractor frame.
