WDM(wavelength division multiplexer)may multiplex the multiplexed optical signal into a single optical signal or demultiplex the optical signal into multiple optical signal,and so the bandwidth resources of the fiber can be fully utilized.multi-channel is a trend of future development of wavelength division multiplexer products.And,for such an emerging product,the reliability of WDM has become a problem that many people attach great importance to.And it is of great significance to design the multichannel WDM and the study the reliability of the WDM.In detail,the main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Design and simulation analysis of optical system for multichannel wavelength division multiplexer.The optical system design based on the basic principle of Gauss beam,combined with the knowledge of plano concave cavity,design a multi-channel wavelength division multiplexer.Join the concave mirror which can reduce the energy loss by focusing and reflecting Gauss beam in WDM device,reducing the loss which is caused by Gauss beam divergence and without changing the optical position.In order to accomplish the design of multi-channel WDM,the optical path is designed by ZEMAX software,including the collimation system of incident light,reflective optical path designment,and the curvature optimization of concave mirror.(2)Establishment of finite element model and random vibration analysis of WDM.Finite element analysis of WDM device is carried out by using ANSYS Workbench software,the simulation of random vibration is reference the standards of random vibration test for WDM dynamics analysis,find the stress distribution of the WDM random vibration test,and the stress of optical fiber where between the collimator parts and 353 ND is large.(3)Thermal stress analysis and moisture analysis of finite element model of WDM.The ANSYS Workbench software is used to analyze the steady-state thermal stress of the wavelength division multiplexer,and the stress and strain of the component are obtained at 85?.Based on the theory of heat conduction and diffusion of moisture,the moisture diffusion in a wavelength division multiplexer is obtained by using a thermal analysis module,and the stress and strain in the 85% wet environment are obtained.The results show that 353 ND and filling gule in the high temperature or high humidity environment has an important influence on the reliability of the product.The effect of the length,width and thickness of the filling adhesive on the maximum stress of the multiplexer was analyzed by orthogonal test of three factors and three levels.An suitable amount of filing glue is obtained.(4)Reliability test of wavelength division multiplexer.The reliability study of WDM are carried out by referring to the international reliability standards for passive optical devices,including random vibration test,high temperature test,high and low temperature cycle test,and high temperature and humidity test.The data of the WDM in reliability test are recorded,and compared with the failure criterion of the reliability test of the WDM,analyzing the failure of the WDM in the test,the defect of the product can be found.The reliability of the wavelength division multiplexer is obtained by combining the accelerated life model such as Arrhenius.
