Investigation And Research On Regional Characteristics Of Traditional Gardens Near The Coast Of Tai Lake

Traditional gardens near the coast of Tai Lake has a profound historical and cultural connotation,which is an important part of Chinese traditional gardens.Nowadays,traditional gardens in Suzhou,Wuxi and Huzhou are valuable,but only Suzhou is famous.Therefore,the analysis of the regional characteristics and the influence factors of the traditional gardens near the coast of Tai Lake can carry forward the traditional culture of it and inherit the regional context.In this paper,literature review,field research and induction are used to explore the influence factors and regional landscape characteristics of traditional gardens near the coast of Tai Lake,and put forward the protection strategy.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Based on field investigation and historical data,it is concluded that there are a lot of traditional gardens near the coast of Tai Lake.The smallest in area of those gardens is Suzhou Canli garden,but zhe largest is Wuxi Mei garden.Some of the garden repeatedly replace the owner and name,and some change the function,service object and nature.(2)Ecology and natural conditions,economical production,transportation and cultural transmission and are the main factors influencing the traditional gardens near the coast of Tai Lake,and the important factors are the master and the craftsman.Excellent water environment,climate and soil lay a solid foundation for the development of the traditional gardens near the coast of Tai Lake.Prosperous business makes the regional garden owner has a strong economic bases which leads to the cause of garden area,size,regional differences.Net-transportation can make the way to obtain the supplies from the garden more convenient and let the information spread more widely.Whether the garden owner do business wordk or not,the living life appear to be a mixture within the grace and the mundane.So the factors causing the regional characteristics of t are complicated and enhance with each other.(3)he traditional gardens near the coast of Tai Lake have five regional characteristics.For example,conception of loving mountain and water,taking water as the center,designing exquisitly and abundantly,and lving elegantly and secularly.Besides,combined with the problems found in the field investigation and the present situation of the protection,this paper puts forward some corresponding suggestions and strategies.Realism and romanticism of landscape is an endless power source for development of the gardens near the coast of Tai Lake.Nowadays gardens-designing appear a conceptualization,symbolization phenomenon.The author wish to put forward the corresponding suggestions and strategies to provide certain reference through this paper by the discorvery for the current situation,digging the influence and the analysis of regional features of the traditional gardens near the coast of Tai Lake.
