Research On The Quality Improvement In E Company By Fmea Methodology

As known,Automotive industry with the quality requirement strive for zero defect quality target in whole supply chain.It becomes that high product quality has become to be the main competitive competency compared to other factors.The company has to face the problem how to reduce the failure cost and how to increase its product reliability to satisfy customer in this situation.It has already introduced the definition and classification of FMEA and also how to use the PFMEA in the thesis.Based on the analysis of the quality failure,it gets the conclusion that repeat quality case is the problem E company faces.After deep study it finds root cause that the lesson learn of quality improvement experience can not share to other mass production project and the coming new project from management view.Using the FMEA tool to improve the top two quality failures case in customer side to prove the improvement value of FMEA and also optimize the quality improvement management procedure to enhance the management level.Combining the FMEA tool and the quality improvement procedure like 8D together,which can help to share the less learn of quality improvement to other mass projects and new project to avoid repeat quality failure.So,it will be great helpful for the companies which have the same quality improvement problem by reference of the thesis.
