Abstract/Summary:
Automotive industry is a typical representative of modernization,which need theprocess for efficient monitoring of the production to enhance the process have stability.Therequirements for the continuous improvement of Automotive manufacture is extremelystrict.This paper analyzes the theory of Six Sigma,the automobile manufacturing customersatisfaction surveys,vehicle quality improvement process (QIP),involved the process ofcontinuous improvement in key indicators and vehicle subsystem decompositionimprovement based on Six Sigma methodology.The method based on process control andquality improvement to enhance the quality and manufacture process controlachievement.The determination of the overall vehicle indicators,the transfer of the internaland external indicators,customer satisfaction to improvement analysis,Lean Productionmethods,integrate all this methodology to achieve the robustness of the process of vehicleproducts.The research of this paper consist of process capability analysis theory,Six SigmaDefine、Measurement、Analysis、Improvement and Control phase steps,which make upDMAIC systematic process analysis,also include automobile manufacturing lean productionand waste reduction methods,indicators of customer satisfaction (CS) and things to wrong(TGW) analysis theory,and the conversion of internal manufacturing process indicators andexternal indicators.Based on the theoretical analysis improved model,with the quality of theSix Sigma breakthrough improvement methods and examples of validation reduction,optimize key processes in vehicle production and systematic monitoring and automobilemanufacturing cost reduction in addtion, form the systematic approach to qualityimprovement.As the studies based on Six Sigma,take a branch of the Jiangling Group forexample,illustrate a systematic approach to the promotion and application of the automobilecompanies,to optimize and enhance the quality performance,also ensure a healthymanufacturing process capability.Because of the efficient implementation in Six Sigma,the automotive maufacture can achieve a significant improvement as a result.Jiangling Motors arm with Six Sigmabreakthrough improvement strategy, built quality improvement model and CustomerSatisfaction (CS) index at the same time,have the vehicles overall thousand failure ratedeclined by a big margin,achieve the better performance between the same model in FordNorth America and Ford Europe for three consecutive years,and get the first place in the theFord global factory contrast,Lean Production in the various aspects of the manufacturingprocess fully reached terms of requirements at the same time.This paper includes discussion concerning the following modules:1.Six Sigma process improvement methodology which include:Six Sigma definition,Six Sigma tools commonly used,process capability analysis and process robustness controlthinking,Six Sigma DMAIC improvement ideas.2.Automobile manufacturing and quality control process:including automobilemanufacturing characteristics,classification of automobile production process indicators,indicators of decomposition,the customer satisfaction index classification and trackingmethods,transformed and improved model of lean production,quality improvement in theinternal and external indicators (QIP) structures,tracking of process improvement.3. Six Sigma application:steps in automobile companies to carry out,including SixSigma,training,the decomposition of Six Sigma projects and project improvementsmethods,project follow-up and assessment,including deployment mechanism by vehiclesubsystem structures in daily six sigma work.4. Six Sigma Implementation Case:headlight analysis improved the problem startingfrom the Definition,Measure,Analyze,Improve,Control phase of the problem standardanalysis method,to identify the headlamp assembly process variation,find out the root causeof the deterioration of the manufacturing process.Six Sigma methodology and data analysis,statistics,process capability analysis,application of testing and other methods,coordinatein operation to quickly identify the real cause of the problem,and to achieve a breakthroughimprovement as a result.This paper provide a method of process improvement and empirical application on theautomotive manufacturing process research,and pay close attention to manufacturingprocess variation,established the continuous improvement model structures.In summing up,it may be stated that Six Sigma is the essential application in automotive manufacturing....
