Research On The Planning And Layout Of Middle And High Intensity Residential Areas Based On Optimization Of Outdoor Space

Along with the development of economy and the improvement of people's living standards,Residential area is only a place to stay,but also reflect the pursuit of human life and cultural levels.Changes of the lifestyles also place higher demands on the environment and functions of outdoor space in residential area.On the other hand,due to the scarcity of urban land and the high-intensity construction of urban residential areas,in order to ensure the sunlight of indoor space,the buildings need to compete with outdoor space for limited sunlight resources,which affects the quality of outdoor space.Also per capita living space in middle and high intensity residential areas is small,and the area of per capita outdoor activities is obviously insufficient.The high-intensity development style makes it more difficult to design outdoor space.Therefore,it is an important topic that we are currently facing how to optimize the outdoor space in medium and high intensity residential areas.Based on the above considerations,the author selected 29 medium and high intensity residential areas in the Yangtze River Delta region as research objects.Through the investigation,analysis and research on the sample outdoor space of these typical residential areas,the layout types of the medium and high intensity residential areas were summarized,and the outdoor space of middle and high intensity residential areas was summarized.Combining how the outdoor space is used and the analysis of residents' satisfaction above outdoor space,the author extracted the key factors affecting outdoor space quality,and proposed optimization strategy based on each influencing factor.From three aspects: residential building designing,residential planning and sunshine specification,a medium and high intensity residential area planning and design strategy based on outdoor space optimization is proposed.These conclusions will be useful in planning and design of this type of residential area in future.
