Archetypal Refinement Of The Classical Gardens In The South Of The Yangtze River And Design Transformation In Contemporary Architecture

Under the impact of globalization,contemporary local architecture is facing more and more puzzlement in the face of traditional elements and regional expression.Classical gardens are the gem of Chinese traditional architectural art.They still have vitality and reference significance in the contemporary era.This article explores the regional style of integration with the times,trying to explore the logic behind the traditional Jiangnan gardens.Taking the stone hill(Taihu stone)as an example,this paper tries to refine its architectural language and explore the possibility of building Taihu stone.Starting from the characteristics of the research objects,the design method that accords with the logic of construction and the image of garden elements is summed up,and its feasibility is verified in practical cases.It also looks forward to the design methods that meet the requirements of modern production,operable and universality.The writing of this article is divided into six partsThe first part is the introduction,describing the research background and research status,research objects and methods,and research framework.The second part outlines the landscape techniques of the classical gardens in the south of the Yangtze River.It is pointed out that different techniques have endowed the "duality" of Taihu stone as the attribute of landscape elements and the attribute of building sites.The third part is the architectural interpretation of Taihu stone.Starting from duality,we build and interpret their image characteristics and architectural space characteristics respectively.From the point of view of building materials,the material properties and construction significance are expounded.The fourth part of Taihu stone in contemporary architecture design transformation examples are carding,induction,classification,combined with duality to extract the design transformation ideas.The fifth part combed the feedback of modern technology to the traditional mountain craft,and the development of the related fields,and looked forward to the prospect of the building of Taihu stone under the digital and industrial production.The last part summarizes the research results and discusses the problems in the research process.
