Inheritance And Transmutation Of Traditional Landscape Architecture Technique In City Park Design

Chinese traditional landscape is a bright achievement in the long history of Chinese civilization;it has fully displayed ancient people's landscape architecture wisdom and their pursuit of life.Under the background of economic globalization,urban gardens and environment design are facing with the lack of tradition,at the same time,they are also suffering from the impact of western landscape architecture ideology;and there was even a time that they were suck into formalism and westernization;therefore,to mix our national tradition with modernity so as to seek outlet for contemporary city park and environment design in our country and to seek for right ways in traditional landscape architecture has become the key to solve this problem.The reasearch starts with traditional culture,scientific concept,and innovative design and tries to blend traditional landscape architecture technique into design of modern city parks.It tries to firstly focus on space structure integrity,rationally analyze inherent law,and combine physical practice to integrate and innovate.Main research contents are: firstly,analyze classification and value of traditional private garden architecture technique,characteristics of modern city parks and differences between these two so as to summarize theoretical basis for blending traditional landscape architecture technique in city park design.Secondly,analyze current situation,method,and approach of blending traditional landscape architecture technique in city park design through cases.Finally,by taking design of Suzhou Qingjianhu City Park as key content and by combining elements of traditional spatial arrangement mode,design considerations,aesthetic conception,analyze the relationship between people and environment,and express demands for function,space,culture,and aesthetics in contemporary society.Besides,it also tries to seek for innovation in the following aspects:(1)According to space structure and spirit of traditional gardens,absorb its connotation,combine modern objective conditions and demands,and explore the relationship between spatial arrangement and functional orientation of contemporary city parks.(2)Take landscape configuration,design language,and aesthetic conception as core,through factor restructuring method,combining with living environment requirements in modern society to create landscape characteristic of coexistence between tradition and era.The research tries to enlighten contemporary city park design by applying theoretical framework and application method for inheriting traditional landscape architecture technique,and also to awaken the consciousness of correctly inheriting traditional culture through practice,maintain design thought of rational innovation,inherit the tradition,summarize rules,and guide the contemporary era so as to bring more cultural deposits and vitality to contemporary design.
