The life of AC contactor can be divided into two kinds:mechanical life and electrical life,but its electrical life is only about 20%of the mechanical life,and electrical life and electrical contact properties is closely related,so it is of great significance to study how to improve the electrical contact properties of electrical contact.Sintering is a very important step in the powder metallurgy process and it has a decisive influence on the final properties of AgSnO2 electrical contact material.Therefore,it is of great significance to find the optimal sintering temperature and optimize the electrical contact performance of the AgSnO2 electrical contact material to improve the electrical life of the AC contactor.In this paper,according to the principle of sintering,the sintering process was established and the range of sintering temperature was determined.AgSnO2/Bi2O3,AgSnO2/La2O3,AgSnO2/TiO2 three electrical contact materials were prepared by powder metallurgy method under different sintering temperatures.Based on the electrical conductivity,density and hardness of AgSnO2/Bi2O3,AgSnO2/La2O3,AgSnO2/TiO2 three electrical contact materials were measured and analyzed,to explore the influence of initial sintering temperature and re-sintering temperature on the physical properties of AgSnO2 electrical contact materials,and expound its mechanism.Then AgSnO2/Bi2O3,AgSnO2/La2O3,AgSnO2/TiO2 three kinds of electrical contact materials were processed into contact,by utilizing JF04C electrical contact material testing system,the electrical properties tests of AgSnO2/Bi2O3,AgSnO2/La2O3,AgSnO2/TiO2 three electrical contact materials under different sintering temperature were tested.The measurement of contact resistance and arc energy parameters were obtained,and the effects of initial firing temperature and re-firing temperature on electrical contact properties of AgSnO2 electrical contact materials were discussed.Finally,the microstructures of these three types of electrical contacts were analyzed,and the optimum sintering temperature of AgSnO2 electrical contact material was determined by combining the physical property measurement results,the electrical contact performance test results and microstructure analysis results.
