Low-voltage AC contactor is an important part of low-voltage electric appliances, as a basic supporting component owning to great quantity and wide used, it has being widely used in various fields. The generation mechanism of electrical resistance of Ac contactor was studied. It has important meaning that Starting with the generation mechanism of contact resistance of AC contactor, to Study on the electromagnetic field's characteristics of contactor,Set up a experimental system for AC contactor,analysis the resistance characteristic and its influence factors of contactor, and then to establish the arc model of AC contactor, for resolving the life of the AC contactor and its Optimal design problem.In this paper, the characteristics of exchanges' contact were analyzed, the AC contactor electric field's distribution model has been established, and The law of the electric field that it's easy to concentration by the connect in a static point of the AC contactor, based on this, a optimization method of AC contactor has been presented, that is to change the structure of AC contactor,that is to say to change the vertical right angle to the circular structure, can effectively reduce the concentration of AC contact electric field in the non-contact area, At the same time, the AC contact electric field is concentrated to the contact position, and the electric field strength is less than that that's before.In this paper, a new experimentation system of AC contactor has been designed, the different experimental methods and items have been introduced, that is the double power experimental method has been used, the actual working power has been used in the contact resistance experiment, which maximizes the simulation of the true state of the split characteristics, overcomes the shortcomings of traditional contactor contact experiment; and the method for regulating cylinder pressure in contact pressure also has been used, which makes the contactor pressure non-fluctuation, overcomes the shortage of pressure fluctuation's insufficient. In the experiment of AC contactor breaking, the servo-motor-to-drive the screw way has been introduced to adjust the gap of the contact,which makes adjustment accuracy is higher, and the breaking characteristic analysis is more accurate.We analyzed the reason of the contact resistance of the AC contactor, studied the influence factors of the contact resistance of the AC contactor in the experiment, found the laws ofThe contact resistance of the AC contactor with variation of the transport current contact pressure, a contact resistance model is proposed. The reason and the influencing factors of the contact power consumption are analyzed in this paper.Also we experimentally researched the arc characteristics of AC contactor and the sectional arc characteristics and electrical, established a model of the AC contactor, analyzed the influence rules of electrical characteristics about the control system in the breaking process of AC contactor, proposed the suppression method which avoids the over voltage phenomenon of the Inhibit contactor in the process of the resistance capacitance absorption.
