With the wide application of electronic control units(ECU)for cars,the car network develops rapidly and its application is becoming more and more popular.The network communication between electronic control units(ECU)in the car plays a more important role in the automobile testing and becomes the hot spot in the field of automobile testing.The traditional manual testing has not already adapted to the rapid development of cars now.How to complete testing of electronic control units(ECU)for the network rapidly and accurately has become a problem that factories need to solve.Aiming at the above problem,in this paper,the theories about the automatic test system for vehicle network are studied.The automatic test system based on LabVIEW for vehicle network is designed and researched,which serves as a reference for the current domestic research of automatic test systems.In this paper,the developments of the current vehicle network and the automatic test system are summarized.The key technologies and theories about the automatic test system for vehicle network are studied,including the bus interface technology,the instrument controlled technology,the CAN network communication protocol and so on.After the requirements of the test system are analyzed,the hardware and software systems of the entire automatic test system are designed and researched.For the development of the software system,I take full advantage of the characteristic of graphical programming and the good integration capability about LabVIEW,and I adopt the modular programming idea that the software system is divided into four modules which are the management module,the test module,the underlying driver module and the test cases module.Finally I complete the development of automatic test system based on LabVIEW for vehicle network.Finally,the test system is debugged and verified.The development cycle of the system is shortened because the method of graphical programming is adopted for the development of the test system.At the same time,due to the idea of modular programming adopted,the maintainability of the system is increased.The use of the test system improves the test efficiency,saves the human cost,and serves as a reference for the research of automatic test systems in the field of the automobile testing.The test system has been successfully applied in practical tests.
