In the further development of urbanization in China,rail transit has become an important way to solve traffic congestion and guide space development in many cities.With the construction of guangzhou urban rail transit entering the era of "big line network",the urban space pattern of guangzhou is being deeply influenced by rail transit.For a long time,the construction of subway stations in old urban areas has been mostly service-oriented,and the coordination between stations and surrounding urban space has not been fully considered.The old city station area has a large passenger flow,especially in some hub stations often appear crowded phenomenon;At the same time,the old city has a long history span,there are many areas around the site that are slow to update,and there are a large number of unfriendly walking Spaces.From empirical research perspective,this paper in order to select the six typical site(include three types)as the object of the same make in-depth investigation and analysis of surrounding area,from the perspective of pedestrian friendly station public space optimization strategy is discussed.The institute for the data and conclusions,can timely feedback effective pedestrian environment information,the old station of guangzhou city rail transit station planning and construction to provide a scientific and standardized reference and advice.The first part is the basic research,including the introduction,the second chapter and the third chapter.Pedestrian environment in site area at home and abroad related research analysis and comb,relevant theories of rail transit and pedestrian friendly related theory research,from the same crowd psychological needs,the same space elements,research methods and build up the evaluation index and so on three aspects in this paper,the research framework.In addition,the paper also analyzes the current situation,development trend and existing problems of guangzhou's old city rail transit,and makes preparation for the following empirical research and strategies.The second part is empirical research,which is the core part of this paper,including the fourth and fifth chapters.For field research and literature review in the old city station area,6 representative sites were selected as the research objects,and the research scope around the site was determined.This paper analyzes and studies the pedestrian space of station area from the aspects of spatial form and spatial quality.Space station quality from walking satisfaction,through the design,distribution and recycling questionnaire,pedestrians walking to station environment data,and through the correlation analysis indicates that the main factors affecting pedestrian environment overall satisfaction.This paper analyzes the present situation and existing problems of the walking environment in the public space of the old city station,and provides strong support for the improvement of the walking environment in the rear station.The third part is the strategy research,including chapter 6.According to the empirical study found that the problem and the conclusion,based on the friendly and equal protection of the old values on foot,from the street network,station square and space quality three aspects put forward relevant optimization strategy,respectively,in order to establish high accessibility of street network,build efficient transfer station square shape and the high quality of walking space.
