The Research Of The Production Efficiency Improvement Based On The Group Technology In The M Company Customized Doors

With the rapaid development of China urbanization,The industry of home building material have a good opportunity to development,The wooden door is the important part of home building,the demand of those is urgent in recent years.Because the home building is not standard in China,the wooden door must be made by customization.M company was the famous furniture company in China,but it advanced into the industry of wooden door lately.As M company carried out the strategy of all home furniture,the wooden door have been developed quickly.However,because of low productivity,the increasing of production is slow,the production cycle is longer than other companies,so the production can not satisfy the demand of marketing.How to promote the productivity of wood door which is a urgent issues need to be solved by the wooden door plant of M company.In this paper,Firstly,it summarized the person production efficiency,on time delivery and production cycle,which compared with other company.Based on the research,this part analysed the reasons which effected the productivity,including the product model and structure,the process flow,the production cycle and the layout.Secondly,it applied a method based on theory of group technology to analyse the production process,then classified the products into groups by applying the method of system clustering.Thirdly,in order to achieve manufacturing by group technology,according to group flow line to optimize the layout.Finally,it calculate the benefits,and compared the production efficiency with before.In this paper,the application of GT is not only a partical sense for improving the productivity of customization wooden door in M company,but also is helpful for other companies' productivity incerasing in industry of wooden door.
