In this thesis the cars’complicated quality problem-solving method based on RED X statistic technology were investigated. The RED X statistic technology method, including RED X problem-solving strategy, problem-solving method, technical tools and the application practice in car quality improvements with the RED X problem-solving method were introduced.A new car had a complicated quality problem which high door closing effort. The author solved the difficult and complicated problem based on the RED X statistic technology. Started with studying the factors of the door system, observed the failure, looked for the major contrast and measured it. Analyzed the door’s major influence factor, and confirmed the major influence RED X, implemented the countermeasure and finally solved the complicated problem, obtained good effect.In the aspects of car quality improvement, the thesis provided a complicated quality problem-solving method based on RED X statistic technology. An efficient problem-solving method for car quality improving was proposed.
