Research On The Optimization Design Of Skin In The Transformation Of Old Industrial Buildings

The transformation of old industrial buildings such as factories,warehouses,storage tanks,and wine cellars into hotels,hotels,and apartments has become the latest trend in the world,with such construction projects being carried out in the first-tier cities of London,New York,Sydney,etc.As a result,it attracts a large number of middle class investors and residents.At the same time,with China’s economic development and industrial transformation,a large number of industrial buildings in cities cannot continue the traditional mode of production and are faced with abandonment,demolition and transformation.If the valuable old industrial buildings can be reasonably transformed and utilized,not only can they avoid capital and capital,protect the natural environment and urban fabric,but they can also stimulate the social value of the old buildings and continue their historical memory.Due to the need for different functions,the interior space and exterior space of old industrial buildings have long since been reconstructed before and after transformation.It is often only its old skin that remains valuable.For design considerations,new skins are often covered,interspersed and replaced outside the old skin to meet the new building’s functional,aesthetic and even commercial needs.How to satisfy the functional demands of the reset space on the new skin and how to deal with the relationship between the old and new skins are all problems that cannot be solved by architects in such old reform projects.This is what the author encountered in recent projects.For this purpose,consult domestic and foreign literature,collect design cases and related technical means,and learn relevant experiences.In the final drawing,the intention of the design is reflected in order to produce a qualified answer sheet in practice.In the article,the paper discusses the exclusion,integration,contradiction and harmony of epidermis materials,epidermal language,epidermal technology,and old and new epidermis respectively from two aspects of epidermal design elements and new and old epidermis optimization design methods,summarizing design concepts,and summarizing design methods.It is hoped that with the help of these outstanding cases and architectural practices,we will rethink technical,humanistic,historical,and emotional aspects from the perspective of the epidermis.
