Parametric technology promotes the diversification of building skins.Parametric technology is the basis for designing building skins.The main content of this thesis is to define the building skin and the building facade in a narrow sense,and to classify the building skin on this basis.Secondly,based on the classification of building skins,select the typical case of each type of building skin.Parametric simulation modeling was carried out in an attempt to explore the method of parametric generation of various types of building skins.For the induction classification of building skins,according to the form of the elements forming the epidermis and the difference of the generation algorithm,two types of epidermis are summarized,which are regular rhythm morphology and irregular morphology.The regular rhythm-like epidermis can be roughly divided into two parts: a line-shaped epidermis and a woven perforated epidermis.The irregular form of the epidermis has its own unique form.But the epidermis of some form differences has one thing in common,and the core algorithm for generating these epidermis is the same algorithm.Therefore,according to the typical core algorithm,the irregular shape of the epidermis is classified,including the Voronoi diagram random algorithm class epidermis,the genetic algorithm class epidermis,the L-system algorithm class epidermis,and the moiré algorithm class epidermis.For the parametric simulation generation part of different types of building skins,this paper uses the Grasshopper software platform to perform parametric simulation generation of the corresponding cases.Firstly,for the line-shaped building skin,by simulating the generation of three different types of line-shaped skin construction cases,it is concluded that the parameterized generation logic of the line-shaped skin is basically divided into three parts.The first part is the generation of the positioning points of the line-shaped skin member,the second part is the generation of the line-shaped skin member,and the third part is the processing of the line-shaped skin member.Secondly,for the woven and perforated building skins,through the parametric simulation of the building skins of the four corresponding cases,it is concluded that the parametric generation logic of the woven and perforated skins is basically divided into three parts.The first part is to divide the corresponding grid,the second part is to divide the window into two according to the divided grid to form the window opening,and the third part is to generate the corresponding building skin for the cover of the panel.Finally,for the core algorithm class,through the parametric simulation of the relevant case building skin,the parametric generation logic of the core algorithm class is summarized into two parts.The first part is to generate irregular grids by different algorithms,and the second part is to generate building skins for panel covers.
