Magnetic latching relays,also known as pulse relays,are widely used in the fields of aerospace and smart meters and other fields.With the development of science and technology,its volume and production costs are required to be higher and higher.Therefore,it is very important to study the volume optimization of magnetic relay.In this paper,the electromagnetic mechanism of magnetic latching relay was optimized according to its static characteristics,and the dynamic characteristics of the optimized results were verified.Firstly,the three-dimensional finite element model of the magnetic latching relay was established by using ANSYS finite element software.The simulation of the static characteristic was carried out.The data of torque and flux linkage corresponding to different current and different rotation angles was reached and the curve was drawn.The cloud images of different structural parameters were obtained by simulation.The effects of different structural parameters on the magnetic latching relay were analyzed with image.It was programmed in VC++.Using MFC combined with APDL command flow to realize the visualization of input and output.Then the electromagnetic mechanism of magnetic latching relay was optimized by the method of orthogonal test.Select the number of coil turns,the width of permanent magnet,the width of magnetic pole,the length of permanent magnet,the length of magnetic pole,the length of the inner iron core as the free variables of the orthogonal test.25 groups of simulation calculation were done and the optimal results were obtained through comparative analysis.Compared with the static characteristics before optimization,optimized organization is better.Finally,the three-dimensional solid model of the magnetic latching relay which was optimized was established by using the PRO/E software.The model was imported to the ADAMS software using the interface and the splitter and movable reed were flexibly treated.And then it was imported into ADAMS to replace the part of rigid body.The electromagnetic torque and flux linkage of the model were calculated in ANSYS and imported into ADAMS.Voltage balance equation was added and the dynamic equation was obtained.The relation between the rotational angle of the armature assembly and time and the relation between the angular velocity of the armature assembly and time were obtained.The dynamic parameters were obtained and the dynamic performance of the optimization results was verified.Experimental circuit was built.The current waveform in the loop was detected.The results are verified comparing the waveforms of the actual current and the simulation current.
