Because magnetic latching relay has the advantages of low energy consumption,small volume,strong load capacity,material saving and other advantages,it becomes more and more popular.The dynamic performance index of Magnetic latching relay directly affects whether the electrical circuit which it controls can work normally.So the research of its dynamic performance is very important.A magnetic latching relay was taken as the research object,with the help of Pro/E,ANSYS and ADAMS software combining together and its dynamic simulation was done.Firstly,three-dimensional solid model of the magnetic latching relay spring components and contact parts was established by using ANSYS and the virtual simulation experiment was carried out.The calculation of Lorentz force was based on the principle of equal moment of repulsive force,and then Lorentz force was reducted to the moving contact;the conductive bridge method was used on Holm-force's calculation,the current contraction between the contacts was described by using a single conductive spot.Secondly,according to the drawings the relay's 3D model was established in Pro/E.The built model was saved as X_T format file and was passed from Pro/E into ADAMS through the interface between the two software.In ADAMS,the virtual prototype model was built by adding constraints,drivings and voltage equation according to the actual situation,making the model simulate dynamically on the real significance.Thirdly,the model of the magnetic latching relay was simulated.The received current characteristic curves and the measured current curves was compared to verify the simulated curves' validity.At last,under the stiffness coefficient of different spring assembly and shrapnel,magnetic latching relay contact breaking speed and bounce time was taken as the research object,to increase the magnetic latching relay contact breaking speed and reduce the magnetic latching relay contact bounce time.The appropriate combination of stiffness coefficient of spring assembly and shrapnel was found in order to achieve optimization of the structure of magnetic latching relay.the simulation of dynamic characteristics of magnetic latching relay in without load or with load without compensation or the load with compensation is carried out.The displacement and velocity of the driving rod and the moving contact,and the contact pressure of the moving contact and so on are obtained.The data base is provided for the next step of mechanism optimization design.The research of this paper provides a design method for improving the design and development of new products.
