Since the ultrasonic phased array technology has been popularized,it has become one of the hot spots in the field of nondestructive testing.The arrayed arrangement of ultrasonic transducer changes the single probe mode of traditional ultrasonic inspection which divides the probe into many independent elements and enables discrete control.This feature makes the ultrasonic beam transmitted by the probe have a more flexible scanning range.It's easy to operate,high sensitivity,and can be visualized.In recent years,the application of ultrasonic phased array has solved many problems that traditional ultrasonic testing cannot solve because of its limitations in some industrial testing.The ultrasonic phased array is well used in industrial testing,and its detection imaging system is developed in this paper.Considering the system's economy and portability,this paper combines the FPGA and ARM,and proposes the design of embedded system based on Linux and Qt platform.This paper constructs the framework of the detection and imaging system based on the principle of ultrasonic phased array technology,which mainly focuses on the development of hardware and software communication interface,embedded driver,interactive interface and integration of other modules.A two-way port as the intermediary of data interaction is achieved using the configurable memory in FPGA and the logical and physical connection between ARM and FPGA are coordinated to complete the data communication between the two.The Linux is choosen as an embedded operation system,a cross development environment is built,the necessary boot loader,kernel and root file system are transplanted to the target board,and the driver program for FPGA as the character device is designed.The graphical interface is design by Qt Designer.The connection between message and response function is established through event and signal/slot mechanism and the corresponding code is added to realize all parts of functions.The standard test block is used to carry out experiments on the developed system in this paper in accordance with the workflow of the system.The control module calculates the time-delay to excite the probe,and the generated ultrasonic beam passes through the test block to bring back the defect information.After processing,the waveform is drawn at the display interface.The modules run normally,and the detection and imaging basic functions of ultrasonic phased array can be realized.
