The Radio Frequency Simulation is a major technological method to test,measure and evaluate performance on the developing process of radar and radar seeker system.Meanwhile,the Radio Frequency Simulation System(RFSS)calibration device is a key tool to calibrate microwave feeding network and antenna array.With the trend of radio frequency simulation technology toward multitargeting,broadband and large scale,the requirement of calibration technology is improving constantly.How to improve the location accuracy of the radio-frequency simulation antenna array effectively is not only an important research,but also shows its value in use and theoretically significant.First of all,through the research of the target positioning principle and superheterodyne receiver technology,the structure and working mode of dual channel superheterodyne receiver calibration for broadband array calibration system are presented.In addition,the application of broadband digital amplitude phase calibration and multi-radiating-unit array target location are analyzed on both RFSS and calibration.Next,according to the target positioning accuracy requirement of the array radio frequency simulation system,the technical specifications of the calibration device and the key technical parameters in the calibration receiver link are calculated and analyzed.Based on the instrument control programming language and fiber optical reflective memory real-time network technology,the software of the calibration device are designed to complete the calibration device.And the calibration device is proved to meet the requirements after the strict test and experiment.Furthermore,by mathematical modeling and simulation calculation,the effect of the amplitude and phase error of triple antenna radiation signal on the target location accuracy is developed.Besides,the amplitude and phase characteristics tests of the phase shifter and attenuator in the array feed network bring the calibration method of amplitude and phase consistency and the iterative algorithm for the phase shifter and attenuator amplitude and phase control,which is proved the feasibility of the phase and amplitude consistency calibration method for phase shifter and attenuator.And then,the effect of the array antenna near field effect on target positioning accuracy is analyzed through simulation calculation.Through analyzing the distribution of the array error in low frequency and the triad antenna near-field error individually,the error correction method based on the antenna angle position and the triad antenna near-field correction method based on the antenna angular position are given.Finally,through testing experiment of the near-field correction method,the result shows that the location error of antenna array is less than 3mrad in the frequency range of 2 to 6GHz,and 1mrad in the frequency range of 6 to 18GHz.
