Radio frequency simulation system (RFSS) is an important part of researching and developing guided weapons. It plays an unreplaceable role in shortening developing cycle and simulating sophisticated electromagnetic environment. Error correction of RFSS is the most significant study area at home and abroad. Assuring the system precision is vital to the weapon developing, but nowadays error correction studies of multi-frequency antenna array are still almost blank. This paper researches and analyzes the near field error correction which aims at the microwave and millimeter wave composite array RFSS in certain aerospace department.According to the requirements of cooperation projects "Microwave and Millimeter Wave Composite Array Electromagnetic Performance Analyzing" and "Radio Frequency Composite Array Near Field Error Correction and Application Technology", main researches are listed as follows.(1) In Chapter 1 and 2, backgrounds of the paper and research status both at home and abroad are given. Basic theory and performance index of near field error correction are also introduced.(2) In Chapter 3, Unit near field effect in near field error is studied. Antennas are modeled in electromagnetic simulation software and multi dimension analyzing to the near field error is given. At last, influences are concluded and suggestions are given.(3) In Chapter 4, triad near field effect in near field error is studied firstly and the difference between unit near field error and triad near field error is strictly distinguished. Then the error correction method is introduced. Aiming at the project requirements, simplified situations are simulated and results are given. At last, suggestions are given according to the data.(4) Chapter 5 is based on Chapter 4, detailed study of trends of double units and triad units’ angle measurement precision in different array radius and layout is given. Results of every situation are showed and analyzed. At last, results of simulation are verified and reasons of angle measurement precision changing are explained. Practical conclusion of composite RFSS is gotten.
