A Research Of The Tianjin Urban Development In Modern Historical Maps

Historical maps can provide intuitive material for the study of urban development.Using the historical map to assist the historical text data,confirm and draw the urban development of the space,shape and function of the conclusions,and directly or indirectly to obtain the text carrier cannot save the information.The city history map connects the development of mapping with the city depicted on the map.This study has briefly completed the description of the theory and technical knowledge of mapping,explained the principle of drawing the map and the significance of map registration in this study.From the accumulation of mapping history and map results,the study from the world to China and then to Tianjin and the surrounding area of the history of the development of surveying and mapping,summed up the map of Tianjin and the surrounding areas.In order to make a more scientific use of the historical map to compare the urban development of different ages,this study has carried out a method of historical map calibration,redrawed the historical map,obtained the digital map file adapted to today's research;by redrawing the history Figure,from the perspective of architecture,urban planning,illustrated by the method of Tianjin urban development process in all aspects of the characteristics.
