The Research On Situation Theory And Management Of Gas Theory In Beihai's Fengshui

During the Tang and Song Dynasties,Fengshui theory formed two factions about Situation theory and Management of gas theory through a long historical deposition.Situation theory pays great attention to the geographical situation and conforms to the natural conditions.It is to judge good or ill luck of geographical situation by way of finding the mountain dragon,Observing the water,investigation of hills,determining the points and selecting direction.Management of gas theory focus on orientation and layout of architecture.It's theory point is orientation and management of gas,also the theory about five elements,Yin-Yang,eight diagrams and nine stars.It distinguishes the good or ill luck about the layout of curtilage garden with the use of the compass.Their purpose is to exploring the relationship between location,orientation,layout and nature in order to create a more suitable environment for human living.Chinese classical garden has a long history and unique cultural connotation.Its location,layout and landscape construction is the results about cooperation of gardeners and Fengshui master.As one of the most comprehensive and representative of the royal garden in China,Beihai has become a comprehensive garden with sophisticated layout and pleasant landscape after the development and construction of Liaon,Jin,Yuan,Ming and Qing Dynasties.Based on the mystery of Fengshui culture,this thesis discusses the influence of Fengshui culture on the construction of Beihai garden.There is analysis about Fengshui from the selection of site,layout of water system,environment of mountain,orientation of building and other aspects of the situation theory.And there is verification about management of gas theory through Eight houses theory,Sanhe Fengshui,Xuankong flying stars and other mysterious flying stars and other representative and traditional Fengshui theory to prove the phenomenon.Under the premise of consulting a large number of literatures and on-the-spot investigation,this thesis interprets the art of gardening in the Beihai by using the theory of Fengshui.Starting from the idea of gardening,taking the elements of the garden as the basic unit,starting with the plane layout,analyzing the influence of the Fengshui theory on it,and researching its Fengshui factors to lay the foundationfor the intensive study of the classical gardening ideas.It's the way to promote and inherit the Chinese traditional culture,and provide reference and help for the application of Fengshui theory to the modern landscape design.The originality of this thesis is that the first study of the Fengshui culture in Beihai verifies situation theory and management of gas theory.And research the corresponding situation in gardens in Beihai to found the royal gardens Fengshui phenomenon.Clear the problem of existence and performance level about situation theory and management of gas theory in the royal garden.From the perspective of research,it is not only to summarize and elaborate the study results of predecessors,but to put forward own views on the basis of the predecessors' theory,and to make the bold exploration of Beihai garden which has not been analyzed before.Finally,expand on the original basis.
