A Study On China's "High Density,Small Street" Mode Of The Design Of Residential Area

From the 1980's,China's residential area design has included a large number of applications in the "street,wide road" closed residential area model,which has exposed a lot of problems in China's urbanization process and the rapid development of social development today,the "small neighborhood,dense road nets" model is gradually recognized and put into practice,the central government also launched a document to support the "neighborhood system" development in 2016,but there still exists lots of problems in the context of the compact city and high-density development.This paper is the research and demonstration of the "high density,small street" living mode under the intensive urban land use situation.This paper first combs the theoretical origin of "high density and small street" from the theories of new urbanism,compact city and shrewd growth theory.Then,through combing and analyzing the formation and development of large-scale closed area in our country and its malpractice,explains the necessity of living mode of "Small neighborhood,dense road nets ".And then systematically analyzes the present situation and problems of the current residential area design in China,and demonstrates that the "high density" construction context is out of touch with the design of "small neighborhood and dense road nets",and then through further quantitative analysis,And the necessity of "residential mode",and the application conditions of the "high density,small street" living mode,reasonable street scale,traffic development mode The layout of the street,the development of the street space,the reasonable development intensity,the mixed function partition,and so on,and the author further designs and analyzes the urban design of the financial city of Tianjin in Yujiapu.At the end of the thesis,the paper combs the dilemma of the "high density and small street" mode in our country faced with the concrete reality of China,and makes a prospect for the future development of this mode of residence in our country.
