As a comfortable and energy saving way of heating,the radiant floor heating system gets more attention by urban residents nowadays.However,the rural areas in northern China still use the traditional heating system such as Kang,which has poor thermal comfort and energy efficiency,and pollutes environment.With the improvement of living standards of rural residents,it will become a trend of future heating that developing the radiant floor heating system with clean energy.At present,the government is vigorously promoting coal-to-electricity heating in northern rural areas to improve air quality and implementing the peak-valley electricity price policy to ease grid pressure,but the contradiction between the supply and demand in the process of energy use is still exists.The solar energy intermittent between days and nights and have instability energy flow,so the application of solar energy has been a blank in the field of heating in China.The peak load shifting effect of phase change thermal storage system can put forward a new idea for rural clean energy heating.The research combined phase change energy storage technology,floor radiant heating and solar thermal technology.A phase change thermal storage floor radiant heating system which using solar energy and electricity as heat source was designed and set up.In this paper,the thermal properties,energy saving,economy and environmental benefits of the phase change thermal storage floor radiant heating system are mainly studied by experimental methods and theoretical analysis.A fully enclosed floor radiant heating pipe with stored energy function was invented as the basic components of the same parallel adjustable heat storage floor.Experimental room was tested in intermittent heating environment.Testing environment included solar energy heat storage,valley price electricity heat storage and solar energy and valley price electricity time-sharing heat storage.The thermal comfort of the indoor thermal environment was evaluated by the operation temperature,the surface temperature,the vertical temperature difference and the PMV-PPD index.By using comparative analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis,the thermal environment of intermittent heating with peak load and trough heating was studied.By comparing the thermal environment of the three working conditions,the effect of intermittent duration on the heating effect was studied.The floor thermal performance parameters were evaluated by analyzing the interior phase change process.Phase change thermal storage floor radiation intermittent heating system used in rural house meet thermal comfort demand.In an intermittent heating cycle,indoor thermal environment of heating during the heat load at the bottom has higher heat inertia than the heat load at peak.If the energy provided for the room is divided into two parts,the indoor temperature field is more uniform and the thermal comfort is higher.The heat source of system are solar energy and valley electricity,the energy efficiency,economic benefits,environmental benefits of system are significant.
