Radiant floor heating system which is a new heating way, has been widely applied in residence houses, hotel rooms, store building and indoor swimming pool in recent years because of the its comfort and energy efficiency. After all, it is different from the traditional heating pattern, so there are some problems in the process of design and construction, such as Load calculation, pipe material selection, floor heating coil distance, piping layout forms, plastic properties, operation adjustment and control, etc. How to design and construct the system reasonably is an issue that all designers concern.In a small room model, two different types of heating hotplate arrangement means have been discussed using the new technology of PIV (Particle Image Velocimetry) in this paper and air combination has been assessed. The temperature field of the two conditions is measured with 66 copper-constantan thermocouples. Then all the simulated conditions are tested through the CFD software Airpak, through comparing experiment and simulation result, RNG turbulence model is more reasonable for the subject.Finally an actual floor temperature heating system in a small room situation has been simulated in XI'AN, the temperature and comfortable level have been monitored through simulation, there are different seven conditions in this paper, the former six conditions is local situation that the heating area is 0.4 time as large as the floor area. They are arranged according to the standard. The seventh situation is all floor area is heating reign. Comfort level is discussed by PMV and equivalent temperature through changing the position and the shape. The better strategy about local heating system will be chosen and some of suggestions given to the designers. |
