Abstract/Summary:
In recent years, the construction industry has been exploring the issue how to promote building energy efficiency, to promote renewable energy applications, to achieve ecological urban development. Low energy buildings use existing science and technology to reduce fossil energy consumption, achieve the low-grade energy to replace the existing high-grade energy, this approach allows the energy supply to meet the needs of economic development. The phase change process of phase change materials can absorb or release a lot of energy, phase change materials can be applied to the transfer of the building load, reduce the indoor temperature fluctuations, improve indoor comfort, solve the storage problem in order to make solar as continuous and stable energy.In this paper, integrated application of phase change energy storage technology and solar architecture are summarized, we analyzed their advantages and disadvantages and presented an idea of thermal properties research of floor radiant heating room based on shape-stabilized PCM panels. We built a solar house used high-performance building envelope combined the layout of passive solar house combined several energy-saving technology application mode. Utilizing low temperature hot water as heat source, shape-stabilized PCM to storage heat, we built the active solar hot water heating system in winter. According to the night sky background radiation cooling theory, we made high-temperature cold water by radiation cooling device to achieve the room cooling, the use of mechanical ventilation can bring out nighttime ventilation and cooling.Test results show that the annual run, indoor air temperature fluctuation decreases 3.5℃ compared phase change storage floor heating room to dry floor heating room, indoor minimum temperature has increased by 2~3℃. Utilization of phase change materials reach 73.2%, shape-stabilized PCM which make from 40% polyethylene and 60% paraffin wax encapsulated by 100μm thick aluminum compound in solar heating systems play a better role. Application of phase change materials achieved the transfer of the building load, improved indoor comfort. Cooling capacity of night radiant cooling system reached 16W/m2, demonstrated the feasibility of using heat flow cooling medium according to night sky background radiation. Using solidification/melting model set, established two-dimensional phase change heat transfer model after a reasonable simplification, simulated the process of storing and releasing heat. The average temperature of the floor surface can reach 20℃ during sustained exothermic of phase change material.The application of phase change energy storage technology in low-energy buildings provides an effective way to make up for their lack of solar energy, improves building comfort, improves structure of building energy consumption, and provide new development ideas to achieve high comfort of low energy buildings in northern China.
