Research On Airport Shuttle Bus Design Based On Service Design Thinking

Airport shuttle bus plays an important role in the airport landside traffic system with its flexible line,large passenger volume and convenient and comfortable ride.Through the previous literature review,there is a blank in the design and research of special vehicle for airport shuttle bus at home and abroad.At present,the airport shuttle bus vehicles are generally converted from highway buses,and the research on highway buses at home and abroad is mainly on the humanized design,ergonomics,interior and exterior design and so on,ignoring the service properties of bus.The new airport in Beijing is going to be put into use.Taking the design of Beijing Airport Express bus as an example,this paper uses the thinking of service design,analyzes the whole process of passenger using the airport bus service,and optimizes the contact points in the design service.For the purpose of service,the contact points are rebuilt to the products,and the airport bus and other related products are designed to meet the needs of the service.Through questionnaire,field investigation and user journey analysis,the characteristics of air passenger trips are summarized,and the trip process is divided into six parts.Through the comparative study of various links in the round trip process,it is found that the difference between the urban parking environment and the terminal building environment leads to the poor adaptability of the current vehicle and service.Through in-depth interviews,we summarize passengers' travel experience in every part,and find out the dominant demand and hidden demand of passengers to airport bus services.Through the construction of KANO model,the needs are prioritized,and four requirements with expected attributes are summarized:reasonable baggage access,good waiting environment,obtain of vehicle real-time information,a good ventilation system in the car.Based on the technology of artificial intelligence,large data,AR,unmanned technology and new energy vehicles for the next five years,taking into account the interests of service recipients and providers to locate the airport bus service.Integrate the online and offline resources,focus on the optimization of passenger traffic process,design the main contact points for the service,including the luggage compartment,the site,the online platform and so on.The online platform provides the users with thefunctions of inquiry,ticket purchase,service reservation,AR navigation,and so on,to ensure the continuity of service.The site adopts the cooperation with the third party and the mode of sharing space to provide passengers waiting environment.Intelligent luggage compartment combines online platform to achieve baggage sorting,and realizes multithreaded baggage access through compartment.Taking passenger Xiao O who often travel by air and have multiple landside traffic modes for the first time to take the airport bus to build a service prototype to describe the whole process of new service.Finally,with the purpose of service realization,the contact points in the service prototype are reconstructed back to vehicles,online platforms and sites,and carry out the conceptual design of the products.The research scope of industrial design has gradually shifted from the single product design to the service design of the system.
