Large-scale international aviation hub is not only an important strategic resource for a city,a region or even a country to participate in global competition and cooperation,but also an essential symbol of the world-class city.How to build a large-scale international aviation hub with mature air route network and advanced landside traffic system is difficult for the airport builders all over the world.The landside traffic system of the international air hub is the link between the airport and the city.Whether its planning and construction are scientific and reasonable,or whether it is operated smoothly and efficiently,can reflect the public traffic management capacity of an airport or even a city.Nowadays,China’s civil aviation industry is booming and becoming an important power for the development of the global civil aviation industry.The passenger and freight flow of domestic large-scale aviation hub is increasing every year.The landside public traffic management of large hub airports meets a series of obstacles,for instance,the rapid growth of traffic demand,the urgent need to improve the efficiency of traffic organization,the need to improve the satisfaction of traffic services,and the difficulty of traffic safety management.How to establish an efficient,convenient,safe and humanized landside traffic system,and how to improve the service quality of landside traffic system,have become an important research topic of large hub airports.First of all,this paper summarizes the management and service of the landside traffic system of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport.Secondly,a questionnaire survey on the passengers of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport was conducted in the current paper.Through descriptively statistical analysis and ordered logit regression model analysis,the paper points out the problems and shortcomings of the management and service of the landside traffic system of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport,such as the low share of public transportation,the lack of transportation support resources and traffic service management level needs to be improved.Related study of international air hub landside traffic service management started earlier in foreign countries,and mature management experience has been explored.In recent years,some domestic hub airports have also made beneficial investigations and attempts in this respect and made great progress.Therefore,through in-depth study of these representative large-scale hub airport landside traffic management cases in the world,we can conclude the "Asian model" represented by Tokyo Haneda Airport,Hong Kong Airport and Beijing Capital Airport,the "European model" represented by London Heathrow Airport,Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport,Frankfurt Airport and the "American model" represented by Chicago O’Hare Airport and Atlanta Airport.Finally,as for the problems in the management and service of the landside traffic system of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport,and combined with the beneficial experience of the global international air hub in the management of the landside traffic system,the researcher puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for optimizing and improving the management and service of the landside traffic system of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport from two aspects: infrastructure construction and service management improvement.
