Research On The Refacade Design Of Existing Public Buildings

As various reasons of spiritual and material levels,people have placed new demands on the image of existing public buildings.And with the economic development entering a stable period,transformation will become a very important building activity in China.As a fast and economical way to change the building image,facade transformation can activate the new vitality of the building,improve the performance of the building,save valuable resources,and continue the context of the city,which is of great significance to the whole construction industry.However,there are many problems in the current practice of facade renovation,such as focusing only on the factors of formal beauty and the effect of facade,ignoring the continuation of the meaning of facade itself and the relationship between architecture and environment as well as the consistency between facade renovation and building performance improvement.Following the train of thought of raising,analyzing and solving problems,this paper starts with these problems to analyse the design methods of existing public buildings' elevation renovation,hoping to provide feasible ideas and methods for future renovation activities.The first part(Chapter 1)discusses the background of the renovation of existing public buildings and combines the research findings at home and abroad to clarify the purpose of the research.The second part(Chapter 2)mainly defines the concepts of existing public buildings,building facades and facade renovations,and analyzes the basic components of the building facade,the development trend of the facade renovation and the influencing factors.The third part(Chapters 3,4,and 5)first summarizes the relevant practices of the renovation of existing public buildings at home and abroad.On the basis of this,an indepth study on the successful cases of fa?ade transformation is carried out,and the problems that should be solved in the renovation of public buildings are summarized.The following chapters focus on the design method of public building fa?ade renovation from the continuation of the context and the improvement of building performance.The fourth part(Chapter 6)takes the actual project that the author participates as an example,and specifically analyzes the application of the method discussed above in concrete engineering practice.The fifth part(Chapter 7)summarizes the guiding significance of similar projects and writing shortcomings.It also looks forward to the future development of existing public building facade renovation under the multi-disciplinary comprehensive research.
