Study On The Space Of Ancient Kiln Area In Jingdezhen Based On Space Syntax

As one of the first "National Famous Historical and Cultural Cities" in China,Jingdezhen is a famous historic and cultural city.People only know Jingdezhen's porcelain is well-known in the world,but they don't know that the place where the porcelain is produced is even more outstanding.The tourism industry in Jingdezhen mainly focuses on the porcelain industry,but neglects a large number of "living"attractions such as historical residences and buildings.On the one hand,tourism,an important industry in Jingdezhen,faces the problem of large numbers of tourists reluctant to enter the old town.On the other hand,in the process of protecting the city,the planners focus on the protection of the architectural style and features,but few measures and suggestions have been made for the renovation of the space,and even less attention has been paid to the connection between the "Old Town" and the "New Town".Therefore,the purpose of this paper is to promote foreign tourists to enter historical and cultural blocks,enhance the vitality of the neighborhood,and continue the spatial characteristics of Jingdezhen historical district.As a spatial quantification method including architecture,settlement,city and even landscape,spatial syntax can clearly feedback the urban road system,urban public space,urban form and even the crowd activities of urban space users.The object of this study is the ancient Kiln district,the city center of Jingdezhen.From 2016 to 2017,the author conducted many surveys in the Jingdezhen,including detailed surveying and mapping of many of the buildings,as well as a survey of the surrounding ancient place.During the survey,it was found that tourists and residents have different spatial perception when they are in the same space.Therefore,this article from three levels to explore the relationship between tourists and residents.From the macroscopic perspective,this paper analyzes the spatial characteristics of Ancient Kiln district,the compatibility between the old town and the new town,and the spatial differences between the lanes.From the meso-perspective,this paper explores the general law of Ancient Kiln district as a traditional area,analyzes the private space(living space)and public space(guild hall space)of Ancient Kiln district and explores the possibility of its development as a scenic spot.From the micro-perspective,this paper studies the human point of view in the intersection space and the street space.And combined with local functional layout,social culture,behavior feelings and other aspects of the analysis.Finally,according to the analysis of the three angles of view,combining with the field research,the corresponding transformation plan is made to solve the existing problems of the historic blocks and build a tourist city.
